Joanie and Jerry Dearo had a dream to create the most beautiful silk garden in Florida and now want to spread it throughout the world.  With topiaries being Joanie's personal favorite tree, Silk Topiaries Plus was born.

It began with watching the evolution of silk plants and wanting everyone to see how beautiful and life like trees, topiaries, floral arrangements and ledge gardens have become.  Our garden has grown larger over the years.  There are a lot of oohs and ahhs throughout which lets us know we have accomplished our goal.

We are very fortunate and proud to have such a wonderful staff to share our vision.  They transform dreams into reality, whether it be in the showroom or in the client's home with FREE home consultations.

Jerry's favorite tree is the palm tree.  Building them is very exciting and challenging, but it is even more enjoyable to see people taking pictures sitting under them.  There is, also, a feeling of satisfaction when your trees go out the door to a good home.

"A newly built or remodeled home, condo or commercial building has a sterile feel until nature is brought inside," Joanie says.  "Nature is comforting and inviting, that is why so many stroll through Silk Topiaries Plus and return again and again," Joanie adds.
